Clinical Lab Scientist

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Perform laboratory tests and procedures, including but not limited to, molecular biology techniques, immunoassays, chemistry analyzers, hematology analyzers, and microbiology cultures.
• Accurately analyze and interpret test results, ensuring proper documentation and reporting.
• Maintain and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation, performing regular quality control checks and calibration.
• Follow established protocols and standard operating procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain quality standards.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals and provide consultation on laboratory test selection and interpretation.
• Participate in continuing education and stay updated on advancements in laboratory science.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or a related field.
• MLS (ASCP) or equivalent certification, with a minimum of 2 years of clinical laboratory experience.
• Strong knowledge and experience in molecular biology, chemistry, hematology, and microbiology.
• Experience with laboratory analysis equipment and software.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
