The Clinical Laboratory Scientist 2 performs complex blood bank testing + chemical, biological, hematological, immunologic, microscopic and/or bacteriological testing in the detection, diagnosis and treatment of disease. The Clinical Laboratory Scientist 2 works in at least one clinical laboratory section in addition to working in the Blood Bank. The Clinical Laboratory Scientist 2 works collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to provide testing services to support patients and the community.!

Shift: Night Shift (with Training on 1st shift) including every other weekend
Experience:
Must have skills necessary to perform procedures contained in the laboratory procedure manual, including specimen processing, test performance and reporting test results.
Demonstrated communication, organization, and prioritization skills required.
Previous laboratory computer system experience preferred.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in an accredited Medical Laboratory Technician program or related field
Equivalent combination of education and experience required.
Licensures/Certifications:
MLT (ASCP) or equivalent certification preferred
