Clinical Lab Assistant/ Summerfield FL

Reference laboratory located in Ocala FL is seeking to hire either a full time or a part time laboratory assistant. Part time position working days and hours are Monday

• Friday 8am

• 12:30. Full time position working days and hours are Monday

• Friday 8:30am

• 5pm. Option to enroll in Medical, Dental and Vision benefits for FTE. Individual should possess excellent communication skills, basic Word/Excel knowledge, detailed orientated with a positive attitude and good time management. Job duties include specimen receipt, maintaining client requisitions and working closely with laboratory testing personnel. Job duties:

• Receives specimens and performs specimen accessioning into laboratory information system

• Performs duties in accordance with policies and procedures

• Prepares and organizes work area and supply inventory

• Maintains written records

• Maintains HIPPA patient confidentiality and security of work area

• Knowledge of OSHA requirements
