Atlantic Health System is currently seeking a per diem Clinical Lab Assistant to work at Morristown Medical Center, hours varies and including every other weekend.
Performs accurate patient registration and accessioning specimens for outpatient laboratory in Morris Plains.
Demonstrates computer proficiency.
Assuring proper collection, completion and reporting of tests ordered.
Must be able to switch priorities and respond to changing needs of the department.
Reviews pending logs and investigates/resolves outstanding issues.
Orders supplies, as needed.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Certified Phlebotomy Training Course completion and certificate strongly preferred
Previous laboratory along with phlebotomy and computer experience preferred
