Position Summary:

The Clinical Integration Consultant's (CIC) primary role is to be B. Braun's domain knowledge expert in Infusion clinical workflows, the infusion device, and the clinical integration implementation processes. This position requires the CIC to provide a consultative role to the Customer and the EMR vendor integration teams. In addition, the CIC will establish and maintain relationships with a cross sectional group of key leaders from the customer and vendor leadership team for all Infusion integration implementation projects. When appropriate the CIC will provide client presentations and solution demonstrations on integration projects for the purpose of initiating an integration implementation project.

The Clinical Integration Consultant will perform various tasks within the Integration Implementation projects. These tasks are specific to milestones necessary for the readiness of projects and include but are not limited to: On-site visits to assist with assistance in integration testing; On-going periodic integration team meetings and conference calls; Provide clinical integration expertise and support in pre-implementation, implementation and post go-live activities.

Responsibilities:Essential Duties

  • Primary role is to be B. Braun domain knowledge expert in infusion clinical workflows, the infusion device, and the clinical integration implementation processes.

  • Provide clinical education assistance in facilitating integration procedural training programs focused on auto-programming infusion therapy.

  • Assist project team with the completion and effectiveness of assessing, planning, implementation, evaluation and optimization of the integration project.

  • Assist customer in understanding current state infusion therapy workflows and make recommendations for integration of future state workflows. Perform various tasks within the Integration Implementation projects. These tasks are specific to milestones necessary for the readiness of projects and include but are not limited to:

  • On-site visits to assist with assistance in integration testing

  • On-going periodic integration team meetings and conference calls

  • Presentations and solution demonstrations

  • Provide clinical integration expertise and support in during all phases of the integration project.

  • Provide expertise in the configuration of the infusion device settings as it pertains to the flow of infusion data to the EMR for auto-documentation.

  • Engage clients in identifying and driving measurable outcomes that align with their organizational needs.

  • Participate in infusion clinical process optimization of future state by leveraging clinical expertise and applying performance improvement, change management techniques, and emphasis on added value during client engagements to achieve measurable results.

  • Apply structure and process to group interaction enabling groups to function effectively and make high-quality decisions for future state infusion therapy integrations.

  • Develop and foster positive working relationships with key customers in an effort to support networking, presentations, publications and sharing of B. Braun success stories.

  • Excellent written, oral, and presentation skills.


Expertise: Qualifications

  • Experience/Training/Education/Etc


  • Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred.

  • 08-10 years related experience required.

  • Applicable industry/professional certification required.

  • Frequent business travel required, Valid driver's license and passport, Valid RN license

  • Regular and predictable attendance

  • Consulting experience

  • Education and Training experience
