We are looking for a sharp, enthusiastic professional to become part of the energy and join our Clinical Informatics team where you will engage in our efforts to improve patient satisfaction, clinical outcomes, and operational efficiency.


Epic Orders certified

Experience of building and maintaining Epic Orderset and Orders

BS in nursing or other clinical specialty preferred (ie. Pharmacy, Radiology, Med Technology, etc.) or Bachelor's/Master's in Technology, Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, or Information systems.

At least 2 years' experience as an RN or in clinical area of expertise and 3 years software implementation experience, or 3-5 years prior experience working in a clinical information systems environment and familiarity with process/performance improvement methodologies; implementing change; risk assessments; and gap analysis. Must also have a solid understanding of appropriate clinical workflows, commercially available technology,

Ability to map real-life nursing and clinical practices to Informatics application, demonstrated ability to be self-directed with excellent organizational; analytical and project management skills (including ability to manage multiple projects), effective written, oral, interpersonal and relationship-building skills, able to conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem solving capabilities, a proven and effective track record of interacting at the senior executive level.


  • Mentor customer service initiatives and able to lead and execute service recovery projects

  • Understands the direction, scope, and timelines for quality reporting overall.

  • Able to build, test, train and run reports related to meet program requirements.

  • Ensure that changes made for regulatory quality reporting fit as easily as possible into existing end user workflows.

  • Work with the application analysts to track updates, progress and follow-ups

  • Meets the requirements for overall project milestones and program achievement and attestation.

Preforms data mining, acquire key data elements, interpret data, create ad-hoc reports and analyze data to unearth trends and patterns.

  • Present and explain information, and suggest improvements based on the data analysis.

  • Statistical analysis of data through statistical tools.

  • Test hypotheses and identify opportunities through the use of statistical, algorithmic, mining and visualization techniques.

  • Abilities to Improve system functionality using latest available resources

Technical Performs development maintenance, and execution in line with required workflows and is able to validate the integrity of the scripts with help.

  • Performs all system upgrades, SU package testing and deployment, thorough understanding and documentation of end user and existing workflow impact, including dependent apps.

  • Development maintenance of content and able to lead class with help.

  • Communicate changes to training content as needed.

  • Supports physicians, clinicians, health care workers, affiliates and partners by providing continuous support, troubleshooting and identifying opportunities for clinical information system improvements.

  • Promotes present system functionality by designing, building and testing the clinical information systems.

  • Attend meetings, prioritize, resolve conflicts and maintain issues list.

  • Prepares and conducts presentations for various audiences.

  • Perform the project management activities for the team.

  • Identify risks and issues and escalate to the Sr. Analyst.

  • Work with Application Managers/Directors/Organizational leaders (Non IT)/etc. and the entire Project Team, to build, test, collect, analyze and document business operations and workflows

Employees in this classification are assigned specific responsibility for one or more departmental functions. Work involves financial analysis, reporting and problem solving. General supervision is received from an administrative superior who reviews work for conformity with established financial, administrative, and departmental policies and attainment of desired objectives, through conferences and review of reports. Illustrative Examples of Essential Duties: * May supervise all City payroll functions which includes: * Reviewing and verifying check replacements and computerized payroll reports * Reconciling payroll accounts and bank accounts, responding to inquiries from employees * Preparing and imputing payroll calendars and schedules * Processing or supervising the processing of personnel transactions, union contracts, and deductions * Reviewing and approving all payroll magnetic tapes * Preparing tax reports * Processing bank transactions * May supervise the Resort Tax program which includes: * Assigning and reviewing field audits * Addressing assessment appeals, reviewing delinquent lists and requests for prosecution * Appearing in court and assisting in the presentation of delinquent cases * Resolving taxpayer inquires and establishing payment arrangements * Reviewing computer generated and manually prepared reports * Preparing reports and statistical information * Reconciling Resort Tax revenues with the financial management system * Preparing correspondence * Attending meetings * As necessary, conducting field audits * May supervise Accounts Payable which includes: * Assigning and coordinating account clerks * Troubleshooting between vendors and City departments regarding disputed invoices * Preparing monthly sales tax return * Reconciling accounts payable and outstanding encumbrances on the financial management system * Preparing month-end journal entries and financial reports * Reviewing a variety of bank reconciliation * Administering The Gulf Breeze Loan Program * May supervise Accounts Receivable which includes: * Assigning and coordinating account clerks * Preparing or reviewing cashier reports and deposits * Preparing or reviewing billing and collections reports * Reviewing lien statements and overseeing the maintenance of files * Following-up on Special Assessment Bill * Reconciling a variety of revenue funds * Reviewing sidewalk permit applications * Reviewing Fire Rescue lockbox deposits, journal entries, and refunds * Reviewing and posting payroll from time sheets * May be responsible for day-to-day maintenance of financial software package/reports * Trains, supervises and coordinates the work of professional, paraprofessional an clerical employees in order to effectively accomplish departmental objectives * Performs related tasks as required Minimum Requirements: Required: * Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's degree in Public/Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field * Two (2) years experience monitoring and ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal government grants Work will be highly independent * Payroll experience required Desired: * Experience working with government, personal computers " Munis" * Development of operating systems and procedures * Experience can substitute for education on a year for year basis Physical Requirements: * General and specific assignments are received from and reviewed by a professional superior * Work is performed with little direct supervision and with some latitude for use of independent judgment in the selection of work methods and procedures * Work is reviewed for compliance with generally accepted accounting principles, established departmental policies and standards, and attainment of desired objective.
