Responsibilities

  • The Clinical Informatics Analyst will be committed to the overall success of the Organization.

  • The Clinical Informatics Analyst will actively participate in the planning, development, implementation, education and training of the clinical and operational documentation that affects patient care and

the overall adoption of new technologies.

  • Provides analytical and operational expertise to the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and other related system initiatives. In addition, works closely with clinical IT staff to ensure seamless integration between clinical function and system capabilities.

  • Other responsibilities include: call support both on-site and as needed, clinical education of new systems functionality and remedial updates, provider education of new systems functionality, remedial updates and troubleshooting, issue identification including follow ups and resolutions, process improvement identification and clinical observation assessment and service lines attendance.

  • They must keep updated on the organizations policies and procedures.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

  • Certification or Associate's Degree in Healthcare field (ex. Pharmacy Certified Technician Certified Radiology Technician, Certified Respiratory Therapist).

  • Requires certification as a Registered Nurse (RN), Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), Medical Assistant (MA), Certified Professional Coder (CPC), Pharmacy Certified Technician, Certified Radiology Technician, Certified Respiratory Therapist or at least 1 years' experience in related field.

Preferred Job Requirements:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or related Healthcare field.

  • Master's degree in healthcare, business, or healthcare related field.

  • Licensure in home state; Compact licensure.
