About the Job:

The Clinical Informatics Nurse is responsible for assuring the overall successful implementation and routine support for updates of all nursing documentation system and all nursing clinical systems. Participates in and manages the Meaningful Use and CPOE projects.

Organize and leads interdepartmental meetings between clinical departments to provide a forum for resolving and raising new issues relating to hospital clinical systems, and presentation of requests to the CNO for implementation approval. Develops and conducts training and support to staff on newly implemented clinical systems. Demonstrated initiative, leadership abilities, and training program development/implementation.

Possesses good oral and written communication and promotes clinical application independence and compliance. McKesson programming experience is preferred.
