General Summary: The Clinical Group Coordinator performs duties to support the clinical services provided at the site. Provides clinical supervision, and training to staff. Ensures that clinical documentation meets the standards set forth by governing agencies.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provides and documents clinical supervision and consultation of staff as laid out by the agency to ensure that services are delivered as outlined in each member's assessment and individual plan.

  • Observe and shadow clinical staff as appropriate for various credentialing processes.

  • Assist with clinical observation and feedback in an effort to improve fidelity to best practice models.

  • Reviews various clinical documentation and provide timely, constructive feedback to staff in an effort to minimize corrections and enhance staff's clinical skills and knowledge.

  • Provides clinical oversight of services provided and staff, to ensure clinical quality is being met.

  • Reviews all assessments and service plans, ensuring that these meet the standards of quality that are set forth by governing agencies.

  • Brings to the attention of the Site Leader any barriers or concerns with service needs identified by staff in the treatment planning process.

  • Makes independently appropriate, sound, critical decisions under extreme stress and in emergency situations. Informs appropriate staff of Sentinel Events occurring with the company.

  • Prepares professional reports on such matters as services offered, program, personnel, and other aspects of the company's operations; researches and compiles statistical data; maintenance records and reports, utilizing a computer and related software.

  • Maintain knowledge of agency rules, regulations, and standards.

  • Provides direct care to an individual caseload of members.

  • May develop and deliver company presentations to the staff and community groups and represents the company on various community and other agency committees as required.

  • Assist with staff orientation and shadowing opportunities.

  • Attends and participates in meetings as assigned.

  • Assesses, creates, and provides clinical staff trainings, as needed, or directed by site leadership.

  • Performs other duties as assigned or necessary as they relate to the general nature of the position.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Education
  • Master's Degree in the behavioral health field.
  • Experience
  • Minimum three (3) years' of experience in the a behavioral health setting with clinical and administrative managerial experience.
  • License
  • Licensure issued by the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners to engage in the practice of behavioral healthcare in Arizona.

REGULATORY:

  • Minimum 18 years of age.

  • DPS Level I fingerprint clearance (must possess upon hire and maintain throughout employment).

  • CPR, First Aid, AED certification, if required (must possess upon hire and maintain throughout employment).

  • Current, valid Arizona Driver's License and 39-month Motor Vehicle Report and proof of vehicle registration liability insurance to meet insurance requirements, if required.

  • Initial current negative TB test result, if required (Employer provides).
