Job Description

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Clinical Financial Business Partner works closely with Human Resources, other members of the c-suite team and assigned business units in an active partnership to deliver value added financial and analytical information to decision making teams. Leads the strategy on labor management to include position control, agency, orientation schedules and pay practices. Works with leaders to ensure accurate time records are entered and maintained for all payroll cycles so that employees are paid properly. Trains all leaders on related processes and validates leaderships' daily completion of timekeeping records. Analyzes and presents usage of premium pays, OT usage, FTEs and general payroll data to ensure that pay practices and policies are being applied consistently across the facility and to provide support for process and cost improvements.

MINIMAL ACCEPTABLE JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Registration/Certification/Licensure:

None required

Experience:

Two years of experience in payroll or accounting functions required

Healthcare experience strongly preferred

Education:

Bachelor's degree required

Requires independent judgment and professional responsibility to provide management

and constructive feedback to administration, corporate, other departments and internal/external

customers.



  1. Demonstrates strong working knowledge of state and local employment law and other government

compliance regulations, including, FLSA, DOL, Wage & Hour, AAP, Vets-100, GAAP.



  1. Demonstrates working knowledge of payroll and IRS regulations and guidelines.

  2. Requires knowledge of continuous quality improvement concepts and philosophy.

  3. Demonstrates leadership and group cohesion skills that promote teamwork and group achievement to


effectively lead staff in the area of responsibility.



  1. Demonstrates working knowledge of the English language, verbal and written.

  2. Demonstrates verbal and written communication skills necessary to interact with all internal and external customers.

  3. Demonstrates computer skills and effective use of available software and systems.

  4. Demonstrates organizational and analytical skills necessary to promote the overall effectiveness.
