Baptist Health is looking to add a Clinical Exercise Physiologist in our Outpatient Cardiac Rehab Department at Baptist Clay. This is a PRN opportunity working varied weekday shifts. No evening, weekend, or call rotation.
Candidates must have their Registered Clinical Exercise Physiologist (RCEP - ACSM), Certified Exercise Specialist OR Certified Cardiac Rehab Profesional (CCRP) within 1 year of employment.
Baptist Clay Medical Campus is located on 32 acres at U.S. 17 and Village Square Parkway on Fleming Island. The facility opened in May 2013 to bring the high-quality care of Wolfson Children's Hospital and Baptist Health to residents of Clay County.
As a Clinical Exercise Physiologist, you will be responsible for:
Responsible for Clinical patient treatment for Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehab patients involved in Phase I-III.
Specific duties include new patient assessment, on-going patient assessment, development of Individual Treatment Plan (goal setting, education, exercise prescription/progression, and discharge planning).
Provides exercise supervision, and EKG monitoring/interpretation.
Completes appropriate documentation/charges and communicates to physician as needed.
