Sodexo's Healthcare Technology Management Division seeks an experienced, reliable, & personable Clinical Engineering Supervisor for PIH Health Hospital located in Whittier, California.

PIH Health Whittier Hospital was founded in 1959 by community members who needed quality healthcare services close to home. The 523-bed hospital has grown into a healthcare system that serves residents of Los Angeles County, Orange County and the San Gabriel Valley region.

In addition to the hospital, the Whittier campus is home to the Washington and Wells Medical Office Buildings, a community pharmacy, an outpatient surgery center and the Patricia L. Scheifly Breast Health Center.

Are you a talented Clinical Engineering Services Site lead, Supervisor or Manager with project management skills, looking for your next move to be in Whittier, CA? Then this is an opportunity you should consider - leading a team within the Clinical Technology Service Provider Market.

Ideal candidate experience includes successful partnerships with hospital administration and management of service team within a clinical setting. Role will be an active contributor on committees and manage team and the day to day service opportunities as well as plan for longer term services and equipment purchase. Should be knowledgeable of risk, regulatory, IT and other health-care needs and have great track record of leadership and client service capabilities.

Position Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate will have working knowledge of healthcare technology operations and equipment, supervisory and leadership abilities, and experience with data management. Microsoft excel experience is required.

This position will oversee both biomedical and imaging services including vendor management, regulatory compliance, and project management. Position may require local travel to accounts and clinics in the area.

HTM/ Clinical Engineering Supervisors have:

• Experience repairing, maintaining, and calibrating medical devices.

• Experience in a hospital or healthcare setting.

• The ability to be organized, resourceful, adept at making decisions and managing budgets.

• Strong service focus to include the ability to engage staff, vendors, and client to ensure service is continually sustained at a high level.

• Leadership capabilities to oversee operations, client relations, and supervise their technician and engineering staff.

• Excellent communication, customer service and time management skills.

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

Basic Management Experience

• 3 years

Basic Functional Experience

• 3 years work experience in facilities (e.g., maintenance, plant operations, engineering services, grounds, custodial/environmental, or transportation) or a related field
