Clinical Educator - Full Time - Days

Job Overview:

Develops, implements and evaluates programs for orientation, competency assessment, training and continuing education for all levels of staff in the Oncology and Medical/Surgical units. Provides support for clinical practice at point of care. Role models patient care practices through direct patient care.

Qualifications:

Required:

• A Bachelors degree in Nursing

• Current New Jersey RN License

• Minimum of three years experience in med-surge nursing

• Knowledge of principles of adult learning

Preferred:

• Master s Degree in Nursing

• Experience using an electronic health record, preferably Epic

• Ability to communicate and collaborate with others effectively

• Competent in use of all Microsoft Office applications

• Effective verbal and written communication skills

Certifications and Licenses Required:

• AHA BLS and ACLS Provider

• Chemotherapy Certification

• National Nursing Certification required, If not certified at time of hire, expectation to receive certification within one year of hire.

• Current New Jersey RN license
