The Clinical Education Coordinator (CEC) is the personal guide through a student's progression through the third and fourth year off-campus clinical rotation experiences for students in the College of Osteopathic Medicine. The CEC provides individualized assistance to guide the administrative questions of the student and monitor progression to graduation. In the ever-evolving world of medical education, the role of the Clinical Education Coordinator has been redefined and its greatest focus is in working collaboratively as a team with the student advisor, the clinical site coordinators, and the student to navigate intricacies of the student's journey toward a successful residency match. Due to the distributive model of our curriculum, the CEC acts as a manager of schedules and assignments involving clinical sites nationwide.
