The Clinical Documentation Integrity (CDI) Manager reports to a Director within a specific division of the organization. The manager has overall responsibility for the daily planning, work scheduling and coordination, and operational performance of the defined Clinical Documentation Improvement program. #The manager retains 24-hour responsibility, but may utilize supervisory staff to operationalize activities. #Delegates, supervises personnel, solves problems, makes decisions and develops systems and processes for successful integration and implementation. #Participates in interviewing, hiring, scheduling, training and evaluation of staff.# Ensures the quality, consistency and timeliness of the facility coding and health record documentation comply with federal and state regulations.# Independently carries out and is accountable for daily operations and other assigned activities. #Seeks guidance from the Director and/or upper management for unusual or unanticipated circumstances that require deviation from policy/practice or allocation of funds to resolve.# Performs other duties as assigned.

Experience, Education and Training Minimum: #Bachelor's degree in nursing with current Virginia state license as a Registered Nurse or Registered Nurse holding a valid Compact State license required OR Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management through an AHIMA approved program with registration as a RHIA required. Certification as a CCDS or CDIP required. #One year of hospital inpatient coding required. #Three to five years of progressively more responsible hospital based coding and related activities including a minimum of one year of management experience required. #Professional knowledge of DRG, APC and other reimbursement methodologies as well as official coding guidelines required.

Payment Integrity Transformation Director (Business Change Director) Will be representing the Program Integrity (PI) group responsible for ensuring proper payments are made to legitimate providers for reasonable services provided to eligible members. Will be on a team of Business Representatives to work directly with senior leadership as well as front line associates, and IT solutions teams that enable the business to drive efficiency and compliance. Focus will be on including more cutting edge technologies and capabilities including more technologically advanced concepts including use of Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, as well as best in class industry capabilities in both technology and Health Care domain. Responsible for working with management to identify and implement varied projects, programs and plans that support achievement of business unit and enterprise goals. Primary duties to include, but are not limited to: * May specialize in one area of organization effectiveness (planning, project portfolio, or culture/change) or be assigned to directly support a business unit and ensures activities are aligned with corporate strategy. * Act as an internal consultant to the business areas to 1) Identify potential issues, project change, and scope data. Leads efforts to identify best practices, and 2) Identify impacted parties, business partners, and resources required. * Develops and designs plans, processes and systems that support business needs and to improve performance to be incorporated enterprise wide. * Designs methods for integrating functions and processes. * Conducts cost/benefit analyses. * Builds support for business change throughout the business unit. * Provides process, project, and change management methodology coaching/consulting support to both local and enterprise wide initiatives. * Provide regular feedback to management on status and updates, as well as be willing to escalate when appropriate. * Provides expertise in process planning and portfolio management activities. * Supports the execution of the Strategic operating plan. Qualifications / General Competencies * Strong analytical skills, high attention to detail, and proven ability to be an innovative problem solver. * Strong communications skills and ability to present ideas in a convincing and compelling manner. * Persuade and influence others with effective verbal and written communication. * Requires a BA/BS degree in a related field (examples include Business, Health Care, Technology, Management Science, or Operations Research) * 10 years managing mid to large-scale change/project initiatives including knowledge of planning models and methodology, project management and change management experience (strategic and execution); or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. * Agile, Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), Confluence, JIRA experience preferred. * Experience in IT related projects preferred. * Master's degree preferred. * PMP Certification or Project Management Experience preferred. * Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or experience in DMAIC methodology preferred. * Experience or exposure to use of Data Science, Machine Learning, and Artificial Intelligence capabilities preferred.
