The Divisional Sales Manager (DM) is responsible for the development and performance of all sales activities in an assigned market. This position staffs and directs a sales team and provides leadership towards the achievement of maximum profitability and growth in line with company vision and values. The DM will need to observe and identify market opportunities and challenges and subsequently develop, plan, implement, and follow through with action plans to positively influence opportunities and challenges within and through their team; this includes the development of team members towards corporate growth.

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher required


  • Candidates should possess a minimum of 5 years' experience in medical and/ or pharmaceutical industry.

  • Previous management experience or experience as a Regional Sales Trainer required.

  • Well-developed written and oral communication skills and to interface with different departments throughout the organization.

  • Advanced interpersonal skills to work with individuals in the delivery of coaching and performance feedback.

  • Applies a range of traditional and non-traditional problem-solving techniques to think through and solve issues creatively to improve performance and company effectiveness.

  • Ability to build rapport and relationships by interacting effectively with employees and external contacts (i.e. MD and office staff) at all levels, demonstrating the awareness of their needs and responding with the appropriate action.

  • Highly effective organizational skills to balance multiple priorities.

  • Applies advanced presentation skills for the delivery of corporate approved materials.

  • Working knowledge of institution (hospital) sales environment and managed care markets.

  • Advanced business analytical skills to identify trends, opportunities and threats to then determine actions to drive business or overcome challenges. Able to adapt to corporate reporting tools.

  • Strong documented sales results over time.

  • Demonstrates solid clinical product knowledge.

VIEW JOBS 6/7/2021 12:00:00 AM 2021-09-05T00:00 <p>The Manager of Clinical Operations leads and manages the Clinical Operations teams in up to ten Metropolitan Service Areas (MSAs) to ensure their efficiency, productivity, and effectiveness. The Manager of Clinical Operations collaborates with and reports to the Director of Clinical Operations on clinical and non-clinical issues (employee relations, productivity, management of relationships with practices, market growth and expansion goals including penetration rate). This role requires expert clinical acumen as well as strong interpersonal and management skills. This position requires regular travel (as needed) within the assigned territory (OH, PA, MI, WV markets). Additionally, this role is responsible for supervising, directing, coaching, and mentoring his/her teams.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><ul> <li>Manage up to 10 MSAs staffed with Vatica Clinical Consultants (all levels), V360 Providers and Field Coordinators. </li> <li>Manage and monitor the teams’ work schedules, productivity, performance, and quality against required standards.</li> <li>Regularly consult with team members and the National Training Director to provide support and improve clinical and operational training.</li> <li>Mentor/coach staff members, to enhance their professional development.</li> <li>Regularly assess and communicate the performance of Sr. VCCs and non-clinical operators; provide ongoing feedback and coaching and work with Human Resources to manage/oversee Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs) of all team members as needed.</li> <li>Assess staffing needs of teams according to workload, staff competency and geographic location. Assigns and adjusts staffing based upon the needs of the organization and the practices served.</li> <li>Maintain keen awareness of all issues and problems in assigned territory. </li> <li>Work proactively and collaboratively with Director of Clinical Operations, Provider Engagement Representatives, and other necessary stakeholders to support the business goals of participating practices, deliver the highest level of customer service, and drive prompt, effective resolution to any issues.</li> <li>Learn, understand, implement, and communicate all changes in strategy, technology, systems, workflows, policies, and procedures to appropriate team members</li> <li>Collaborate with other company departments and teams (Member Engagement, Provider Engagement, Provider Network, Sales, Compliance, etc.) on key initiatives and projects and to resolve issues and improve workflow processes.</li> <li>Assist teams with onsite and/or virtual training on Vatica technology to practices during initial setup, and continually as needed. </li> <li>Assist all team members to develop best practices and improve workflows to increase Vatica encounter utilization and member penetration to achieve defined goals and objectives.</li> <li>Participate in activities to collect and analyze data to help Vatica better understand the value proposition, revenue improvement, care coordination, quality metrics, and medical cost savings.</li> <li>Promote an atmosphere of team building, professionalism, resiliency, honesty, transparency, and open communication that facilitates staff input into decision-making, conflict resolution and collegiality among all team members</li> </ul><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><ul> <li> <strong>Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) with very strong clinical acumen and leadership skills.</strong> </li> <li>At least two years of clinical experience in an inpatient or outpatient setting required; three or more years and critical care experience preferred.</li> <li><strong>At least 3 years of management experience, preferably managing nurses.</strong></li> <li>Proficient with diagnosis coding, healthcare billing, quality and Value Based Care measures and metrics.
