Overview

Come join a friendly and diverse clinical team that provides quality care! Community Healthlink (CHL) is looking for a full-time (37.5 hrs/wk) Clinical Director in Worcester.

The Motivating Youth Recovery (MYR) program is an intensive detox and stabilization program for adolescents struggling with addiction and co-occurring disorders. In this inpatient program our staff work as an integrated team to support youth as they work toward recovery. This program is staffed 24/7.

Responsibilities

Oversees day to day clinical operation of of the program and ensures all clinical services are in compliance with all agency policies and procedures.
Interviews and recommends most residential and all clinical staff for hire.
Carries pager to provide staff with support and to ensure program safety during non-business hours and weekends.
Participates in Management Team Meetings and leads treatment team.
Provides supervision to clinical team members, including master's level clinicians, case managers, and interns.
Encourages and supports diverse views and approaches, demonstrates Standards of Respect, and contributes to creating and maintaining an environment of professionalism, respect, tolerance, civility and acceptance toward all employees, patients and visitors.

Qualifications

Grade 7: Clinician III: Masters degree in psychology, social work or a related human services field. Must be an LICSW, LMHC, or Licensed Psychologist with demonstrated experience in working with adolescents with substance use disorders and co-occurring disorders
Grade 8: Clinician IV: Masters degree and an LICSW in the state of Massachusetts
Minimum of 3 years experience required
Current valid US-issued drivers license and ability to provide a registered, inspected and insured automobile for work related purposes including transporting clients in your own vehicle
Must be able to pass a CORI (Criminal Offender Background Check) and a DCF/CPS (Department of Families Adam Walsh/Child Protective Services background check)

The Motivating Youth Recovery (MYR) program is an intensive detox and stabilization program for adolescents struggling with addiction and co-occurring disorders. In this inpatient program our staff work as an integrated team to support youth as they work toward recovery. This program is staffed 24/7. Our residential counselors have the opportunity to impact youth through maintaining a safe and supportive milieu, providing psycho-educational groups, and modeling recovery principles. If you are looking to give back to the community and help others, this relief residential counselor position maybe the one for you. A relief residential counselor can work 0-20 hours a week depending on the program's need. In this flexible position, there are no set shifts, and staff are scheduled or called as needed to cover empty shifts. Responsibilities * Assist with intake processes. * Provide direct supervision for and assist clients with daily living needs. * Work with adolescents in a one to one setting. * Assist staff in conducting effective group sessions. * Contribute to the overall success of multi-disciplinary team including attendance at team conferences. * Complete all required paperwork in a timely and efficient manner. * Demonstrate outstanding communication skills. * Demonstrate an ability to develop respectful interpersonal relationships with clients while maintaining appropriate boundaries. * Demonstrate a strong work ethic and the ability to follow nursing staff, clinician and supervisor instruction. * Respects diverse views and approaches, demonstrates Standards of Respect, and contributes to creating and maintaining an environment of professionalism, tolerance, civility and acceptance toward all employees, patients and visitors. VIEW JOBS Overview Adult Community Clinical Services(ACCS) are comprehensive clinically focused services provided by a multi-disciplinary team that provides services to adults with mental health needs. Collaborate with ACCS Leadership staff to develop and implement treatment technologies based on nationally recognized clinical models and evidence-based practice models designed for Persons with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders. Assist people served in identifying and using strengths and interests to develop, implement, and monitor interventions and personal recovery goals. Demonstrate respect for all Persons regardless of ability status, culture, sexual orientation, gender identity, religion, or ethnicity. Provide support services for recovery in the location of preference for the person served, including in the community, in homes or in office; Assist in the development of valued community roles including group memberships, employment, or volunteer experiences.
