Salary: $100,000 - $125,000, based on experience
Sign-on Bonus: $10,000
Location: On-site role
Summary/Objective:
Responsible for the planning, organization, direction, supervision and evaluation of all the nursing services provided by the agency. Ensures nursing department compliance with federal, state and local regulations and implementation of agency nursing core programs. Ensures maintenance of records and reports concerning resident care. Ensures the orientation and training of nursing personnel. Manages the nursing department within budget. Follows all agency policies and procedures.
Essential Functions

Directs, plans, organizes, supervises, and evaluates all clinical services provided by the agency to achieve desired clinical and financial outcomes
Ensures the agency is in compliance with all hospice regulatory requirements and standards
Ensures necessary equipment, supplies, and staffing are available for the delivery of the prescribed patient care
Completes joint visits with staff annually to ensure field compliance
Handles hospice referrals and admissions in an efficient and timely manner
Ensures each patients' care plan process is carried out on a timely basis
Responsible for recruitment, training, supervision, scheduling, and personnel issues in the clinical department. Ensures the maintenance of licensure status for all employees
Manages the clinical department budget
Coordinates Infection Control, Quality Assurance Performance Improvement, and other concurrent review functions of the agency
Represents the agency in various professional and community activities. Participates in marketing planning, activities, and evaluation
Treats all patients, family, and staff with courtesy and respect
HIPAA
Maintains confidentiality of patient information
Follows and adheres to agency policies and procedures implementing HIPAA requirements for the privacy and security of protected health information
Uses and/or discloses only minimum amount of Protected Health Information necessary to complete assigned tasks
Reports all suspected violation of company's HIPAA policies or procedures to the Administrator
Education and Experience
1.Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. One (1) to two (2) years of recent acute care experience in an institutional setting.
2.Current RN licensure in state and CPR certification.
3.Bachelor's degree, with one (1) year of home care management experience required (Hospice and/or Home Health).
4.Excellent observation, verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, basic math skills; nursing skills per competency checklist.
5.Prolonged or considerable walking or standing. Able to lift, position or transfer patients. Able to lift supplies and equipment. Considerable reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling or crouching. Visual acuity and hearing to perform required nursing skills.
