Behavioral Health Clinical Director- (Fully remote)
This job is entirely remote but requires an independent license in Arizona.
Job Purpose:
The Behavioral Health Clinical Director is responsible for managing the clinical and administrative aspects of the work of assigned clinicians, including overseeing unlicensed master's level clinicians. This role is crucial in leading clinical quality initiatives to achieve benchmarks in quality and productivity, ensuring excellence in patient care. The Clinical Director's responsibilities include operational oversight, professional development of clinicians, establishing clinical protocols, supervising case conferences, managing crises, and evaluating treatment plans. It is essential to have effective collaboration across service areas, particularly with primary care and psychiatry, to ensure integrated medical and behavioral health services.
This is an exempt position reporting to the Director of Behavioral Health Operations.
What You Will Do:
Supervise assigned staff, ensuring alignment with Denova's mission and adherence to AZBBHE regulations.
Coordinate and administer developmentally appropriate training and supervision.

Oversee clinical services, care coordination, and crisis management for patients.
Partner with staff to create schedules that ensure seamless patient access to services
.
Actively engage in performance management, including:
Routine and scheduled supervision meetings.
Quarterly performance reviews.
Monitoring and addressing performance concerns.
Conducting chart reviews and audits.
Ensure all program services comply with applicable regulations, laws, and contracts.

Monitor staff morale, fostering a positive team spirit and continuity
.
Review and approve clinical documentation.
Participate in hiring activities, including resume review, interviewing, and candidate selection.
What We Need From You:
Requires a master's degree in counseling, social work, marriage, and family therapy (or a related field) and a current independent license issued by the Arizona Board of Psychology Examiners - or a doctoral degree in clinical psychology, counseling psychology and a current license issued by the Arizona Board of Psychology Examiners
Inclusion on the AZBBHE clinical supervisor registry or eligibility for the registry.
Two years professionally relevant experience required; Experience in a virtual setting
highly desired.
