The Clinical Director will:
Supervise staff, coordinate personnel actions for sub-department unit staff and/or faculty, oversee records and filing systems, control equipment and supplies and coordinate automated information systems and facilities and space planning for operations. In addition, the incumbent will participate in the development and operation, as needed, of the clinical practice of the facilities including patient services, patient scheduling and other related practice functions as directed by the Director of Operations. Work schedule/hours may vary depending on needs of center. RN License in the state of PA is required.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Registered Nurse with experience in procedures and/or operating room, PACU, or Pre-Admission in a endoscopic or surgical setting. Prefer one year of management experience in ambulatory care.
Basic computer knowledge.
REQUIRED LICENSURE AND CERTIFICATION:
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Ability to read and communicate effectively in English. Additional languages preferred.
Demonstrated communication skills which indicate ability to be successful at counseling, teaching, and assessing. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common professional journals, nationally recognized guidelines and regulations. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, staff, physicians, and regulatory agencies. Ability to effectively present information to staff, management and physicians.
