POSITION SUMMARY: As a member of the multidisciplinary health care team, screens, assesses, intervenes and educates patients at nutritional risk.# Participates in continuous quality improvement activities and educational experiences in support of departmental philosophy and objectives, as well as, Health System initiatives.

EDUCATION/TRAINING: Bachelor of Science degree in Dietetics or related field from an accredited facility. LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION:

Possession of a valid license issued by IDFPR (Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation) as a Registered Dietitian OR Successful completion of an internship program recognized by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics as a Registered Dietitian Specialty certification is required within 6 months from the time required practice hours are documented. However, if clinical practice does not comprise 50% or more in a specialized area, specialty certification is not mandatory. EXPERIENCE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
