In this role, he/she is responsible for the nutritional care of the patient. This includes assessment, care plan development, reassessment and education.

Preferred Criteria:

  • A minimum of one-year, acute-care, experience.

Required Criteria:

  • Must have Bachelor's Degree, with completion of an ADA approved internship.

  • Must be credentialed as a Registered Dietitian by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)

  • Must have strong verbal communication and writing skills

  • Candidate must have knowledge and the ability to implement care plans to culturally diverse populations.

  • Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for periods up to four (4) hours in length.

  • Must have the ability to lift pots, pans, etc. up to 40 pounds in weight.

Find out how you can Make It Possible: In this role, the Program Director of Capacity Management is responsible for performing and supporting the assessment, design, and implementation of The Capacity Management Program at NYPH/BMH. The Program Director is accountable for the management of all in patient bed flow requests from ED, PACU, ICU, and outside facilities and collaborating with Admission Department, Nursing, local and enterprise wide transfer centers and Enterprise PPOC's to assure expedited placement of patients to beds. The Director will direct a team of RN Patient Flow Coordinators and Patient Flow Representatives. Position is responsible for reporting and review of patient flow and bed capacity status using a dashboard to include relevant metrics for all departments. Required Criteria: * BSN degree * Masters in Nursing or related field if already holds a BSN degree. Either bachelors or graduate degree must be in nursing. * 3 years of Leadership/Managerial experience. * Current NYS RN Licensure. * Basic computer literacy. * Demonstrated leadership and effective communication skills. * Demonstrated strong organizational and prioritization skills.
