Clinical Dietician- Per Diem, Variable Shifts & Work Hours

The Clinical Registered Dietitian develops, coordinates, and directs all aspects of quality, cost-effective, outcome-oriented medical nutrition therapy. Responsible for decisions and judgments affecting patients total nutrition care to facilitate improvement in patients' nutritional status.

This is a per diem position with various shifts and work schedules.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Dietetics required.

  • Registration with the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (RD), or registry-eligible required. Registration must be obtained within six months of hire.

  • Certification with the State of Washington (CD) required. If not certified, must obtain within one year of hire.

  • One year hospital Dietician experience preferred.

Special Training/Skills:

  • Effective oral and written communication skills to perform job required.

  • Knowledge of modified diets required.

  • Computer experience preferred.

  • Ability to demonstrate excellent organizational skills required.

  • Ability to use keyboard, telephone and other standard office equipment preferred.

The social worker in the emergency department is responsible to provide patient assessments and discharge recommendations, crisis intervention and support, and provide after hours support to the medical floors of the hospital for emergent situations. This is a per diem (on-call) position giving you the opportunity to work variable shifts and shift lengths. Limited benefits. Qualifications * Master's degree in Social Work preferred, or related field (Counseling, or Clinical Psychology) from an accredited university required. * Prefer Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) or Licensed Advanced Social Worker (LASW). If not LICSW or LASW then one of the following is required: Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Social Work Associate Independent Clinical (SWAIC), Social Work Associate Advanced (SWAA), Marriage and Family Therapist Associate (MFTA), Mental Health Counselor Associate (MHCA), or eligible to transfer credentials and register as an Agency Affiliated Counselor upon hire. * Two years clinical experience in health care setting preferred. * Clinical skills in the following areas required: Crisis intervention; grief, death and dying; trauma; and psychiatric assessment/treatment planning. * Broad knowledge of community resources, medical terminology, hospital systems, insurance guidelines, financial issues and risk management issues preferred. * Effective verbal and written communication skills required. * Broad knowledge of computer systems required.
