Day to day responsibilities:

  • Update the team's project tracker (Excel)

  • Project status

  • Document all tasks required to launch a revised or new course

  • Follow up with trainers regarding expected deliverables

  • Communicate/influence course trainers regarding course revisions needed

  • Lead meetings

  • KOM for new courses

  • Touch base meetings (if needed)

  • Monthly meeting with Proc Doc team to review upcoming changes to systems/processes/documents

  • Identify impact to current courses

  • Identify timelines for course revisions and/or new course development

  • Work with Biometrics Team on creation of Biometrics Announcements for the Biometrics Thursday Digest

  • Review and provide feedback on course slide revisions and new courses

  • Format PowerPoint sides

  • Add Smart Art/animations where applicable

  • Update the QuEST SharePoint site with revised and/or new courses

  • Participate in process improvements

  • Deliver training for new trainers

  • Biometrics Trainer Training: Course Slide Development and Maintenance

  • Biometrics Trainer Training: Post Launch Activities

Attend decision-making meetings and implement within current projects

The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical and problem solving skills, team player, ability to multi-task, quick self-learner, and highly motivated to analyze the data issues and articulate the business impact. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. * Lead the technical solution design and the development to create a single source of truth via the MDM solutions (Reltio preferred but experience with one of the MDM tools such as Informatica MDM, IBM Infosphere, Stibo, etc., is a must) * Collaborate, Contribute and Participate with all stake holders across IT & business for the solution delivery, Infrastructure build, Effort estimate, Production deployment and Product support. * Identify and define the right strategies to integrate Master data with other operational systems to leverage the Master data more efficiently and effectively * Accountable for code quality, development of reusable components, product performance and adherence to best practices * Track team's progress, identify risks, issues and highlight to the project manager and leadership proactively. * Lead the effort to fix bugs in all the test cycles and post production. Accountable for smooth implementation in the all environments. * Communicate the technical dependencies to the concerned teams and establish coordination for seamless implementation of the individual components. * Lead and manage the team on the MDM specific activities such as define the Survivorship, Match Rules, etc., * Collaborate with various technical teams and business users for Development, QA, and Production Support for the MDM platform * Strong project delivery experience which includes system requirements, effort estimation, define and lead the team to meet the requirements and recommending solutions Job Requirements To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. * Must have designed/architected and implemented end-to-end MDM solution for the Customer domain. * Hands on experience in the Hub Configuration – Data Model, Configuration, Mappings, Validation rules, Cleanse rules, Survivorship, Match rules, Rules tuning, etc., * Proficient in the development of automated ETL processes to ingest the data into MDM (Prefer the Cloud solution - AWS Glue, MuleSoft, Snaplogic, etc.,; Must Have - On premise solutions such as Informatica Power Center or IBM's data stage) * Strong Project delivery experience managing large or complex projects as a MDM Technical Lead * Understanding of SOA, Data integration, Data Quality, data architecture and Master Data Management, project life cycle Phases, best practices and processes * Strong experience in building best practices, reusable components and solution accelerators for the organization. * Strong working knowledge on the SQL * Work experience as a MDM Data Steward * Working knowledge on troubleshooting the data harmonization issues * Strong exposure to the data profiling (IDQ) and wrangling tools (Trifacta, Paxata, etc.,) would be preferred * Exposure to the RESTful Web services is a must * Strong problem solving and analytic skills * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Working knowledge on the workflow management tool is a plus * Implementation experience via Collibra would be good to have * Auto Industry experience is preferred but not a must * Ability to travel as necessary to meet organizational and administrative demands (up to 30% of the time) * Solid experience with both structured relational databases, semi-structured (columnar) and non-structured (NoSQL - Hadoop) data repositories is a must * Work experience in the Amazon Web Services (AWS) tools and capabilities EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Bachelor's Degree in relevant field; 3-5+ year's as Tech Lead, master data management data steward, data quality analyst or equivalent combination of education and experience. * Recent 2 years in the MDM project is a must SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES Manage the Vendor resources PHYSICAL DEMANDS The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
