Manage and continually improve the AFib Outcomes data collection process to ensure timeliness of data collection, data accuracy and reporting.

Design/documentation of case report forms used in the data collection effort. Provide education, as needed, to individuals involved in the data collection process. Abstraction of clinical data from the medical record.
Communicate/collaborate with physician group to consistently review the data collection process and the data to ensure data integrity. Work jointly with the Procedure physicians and Clinical Research Program Director to document methods used in abstraction of data, as well as the standards and guidelines used in the clinical evaluation of the data. Ensure that the standards and guidelines are consistent with the American Heart Association's treatment guidelines for AFib.
Design and implement methods of validating the data to ensure consistency with the established guidelines and standards. Work jointly with Research Database Manager to design routine reports use in the data validation process. Provides input into validation rules used in the electronic data capture system (REDCap cloud) to monitoring for data accuracy.
Must be Licensed as an RN with a minimum of 3 to 5 years of nursing experience, preferably in Cardiology. Research experience preferred.
Proficient in Excel, Word and database management. Must be able to prioritize and organize a high-volume workload and changing priorities.
