Clinical Data Analyst:

This position is responsible for collection, extraction, maintenance, and analysis of data, both internal and external to MMG. This position will provide analysis & reporting capabilities for the decision support and strategic planning functions. This position will support 1) quality improvement implementation and assessment 2) provide

• Data Analysis & Reporting to ensure that data, analysis, and reporting is done in timely and effective manner. The incumbent is responsible for ensuring compliance with grant funders data reporting requirements, institutional, HIPPA and with all regulatory and Medical Center standards.

The Clinical Data Analyst will perform analytical and clinical report builds, help automate those builds, and translate those builds into business intelligence software. The analyst will work closely with physicians and leadership in understanding and delivering reporting needs in a timely manner.

In addition, the analyst will assist with presentation of data required for MMG initiatives. The analyst will also train and support staff as needed.

Shift: 8:30a-5:00p

Required:

• Bachelor's Degree

• Computer Science, Mathematics or Engineering

• Experience in clinical/healthcare specific reporting or other exposure to healthcare business constructs.

• Excellent IT documentation skills.

• Creates, generates and analyzes statistical reports to track and measure various clinical functions

• Troubleshoots hardware and software problems, maintains databases, and provides standing and ad hoc reports as required

• Provides guidance to lower level clinical analysts

Associates are eligible to apply for a lateral transfer after completion of one (1) year of service in their present position, with the following exception: an Associate who has received a written warning is not eligible for a transfer/promotion prior to six (6) months from date of issuance; an Associate who has been suspended is not eligible for transfer/promotion prior to one (1) year from date of suspension. Part-time Associates who have completed their probationary period can move to full-time vacancies within their department provided such movement will not unreasonably reduce the operational efficiency of that department. Probationary period is three (3) months for full-time employees, and four (4) months for part-time employees who works more than 3/5 of the normal workweek.
