Under the direction of the Department Director, the Clinical Coordinator has shift responsibility for the effective implementation of the philosophy, goals, policies, and procedures of the hospital and the nursing department and their effect on patient care in the department.
Associate's degree from an institution of higher education accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) and/or the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN)
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Basic Life Support (BLS)
ACLS (within 6 months of employment)
Valid licensure in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse (RN)
Minimum Work Experience
Must have six (6) months of clinical nursing experience as a Registered Nurse (RN) in a direct patient care setting. Five years of clinical experience preferred
