The Palliative Care & Support Services is an innovative, outpatient-based palliative care program providing comprehensive, coordinated, and compassionate care for patients and families facing serious illness.
Supervises daily activities and patient flow processes of Palliative Nurses, Medical Assistants, scheduler's and front desk clerical staff. Acts as a coach, mentor and problem solver for staff in the department. Works collaboratively with the Medical Director, Administrator, and Manager on patient care issues and department direction.
REQUIRED: graduate of an accredited school of nursing; valid California Registered Nurse license; current AHA BLS/CPR certification; at least three (3) years experience in a PeriOperative or higher level of acute care setting; current AHA ACLS certification; current AHA PALS certification
