Ensures quality patient care is provided. Cost management, human resource management, clinical management, and value management for assigned units.
Develops budget in partnership with Administrative Director, operates assigned areas within budget. Performs in a charge or staff nurse role providing direct patient care as needed.
1.The RN Clinical Coordinator is responsible for supervision and/or coordination of all staff assigned to his/her team and the coordination/communication of information relevant to the intra-operative patient care process.
2.Duties include collaboration and coordination of the efforts of the surgical staff to meet the needs of the surgical schedule, surgeons, patients and staff.
3.Supervise the daily activities of their assigned surgical service(s) to assure quality patient care, to anticipate the future needs of the service(s) and make arrangements for the needs to be met; i.e., equipment, supplies etc.
4.Provide professional nursing care to surgical patients utilizing the nursing process.
5.Collaborate and coordinate with other members of the surgical team including physicians to deliver quality health care.
6.Responsible for facilitating, coordinating and directing the operations of the OR while preparing for before, during and after the case.
7.Develop and maintain positive work relations with all internal and external customers.
8.Serves as Charge Nurse, Room Turnover Assistant, Team Leader as necessary.

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
Graduate from school of nursing.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Two (2) years' appropriate clinical experience.
MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:
Current license as an RN in the state of Georgia.
BLS Certification Required.
Work experience in Surgical Services.
