Clinical Coordinator-Rn - Heart & Vascular Operating Room - Full Time - Days

The Clinical Coordinator works under the direction of the Manager in support of Patient Care Services and unit specific goals. He/she is responsible for assisting with the coordination of patient care and providing support and directions for staff in the performance of their duties.

Provides direct patient care as necessary. Supervises daily operations assuring regulatory compliance and acting as a liaison between management and staff. The Clinical Coordinator is instrumental in creating a positive public image and working environment.

The professional practice of nursing/radiology technology requires specialized knowledge, judgment, and skills to provide care to groups and individuals. The RN/ RT(R) utilizes knowledge derived from the principles of biological, physical, behavioral, social, and nursing/radiology sciences to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.

All care is provided based on the concepts inherent in the model of care for TCH which promotes an on-going partnership between patients and families and the team of healthcare providers. The care is culturally based and age specific. The role must adhere to their professional association's code of ethics and the Ohio governing board for scope of practice.
