Clinical Coordinator – Multi-Systemic Therapy (MST) Team

Our client is a longstanding behavioral health organization that has been serving Central Virginia for over 50 years.

The Position: We’re actively looking for an LPC, LCSW or LMFT to lead our Client’s MST (Multi-Systemic Therapy) Team. The program provides services youth involved in criminal activity, or struggling with mental health and SUD, and their families. Candidate must have at least one year of experience supervising other fully-licensed clinical staff.

• Salary Range: $57,107 to $91,371 (depending on years of experience)

Responsibilities:

• 37.5 hours per week
• Provide leadership, weekly group supervision and training to MST team to ensure adherence to MST principles and the MST analytic process.
• Provides individual supervision as needed to target clinician competency.
• Hiring, performance evaluation, and holding supervisees accountable for performance.
• Role requires clinicians to meet clients in the community and in their homes, this is a community-based treatment program.

Requirements:

• Must have completed a 60-credit Master’s Degree (with 600 completed intern hours) in relevant Human Service field (Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, Etc.)
• Licensure in the state of Virginia as an LPC, LCSW, LMFT or LSATP.
• 3 years of relevant clinical experience, including at least 2 years of experience working with persons with serious mental illness.
• At least 1 year of prior supervisory experience of fully-licensed clinical staff in mental health setting.
• Additional clarification regarding supervisory experience: Supervising other clinicians for their licensure supervision hours does not count for this type of supervision.
• Ability to participate in and successfully pass behavioral intervention training; includes both verbal de-escalation skills and physical skills techniques to be utilized when needed
• Clinical experience in treating serious antisocial behavior in youth
