The Clinical Coordinator III Provides direct line management and leadership for all patient care areas, including Nursing, Coumadin Clinic, Device Clinc, Disability/Indigent Meds, Lab/X-ray and pertinent support staff for Providence Cardiology. Ensures proper standards are followed for nursing practice and provides interface between the support services and clinical services. Facilitates care delivery system development and operation, including but not limited to staffing and professional delivery of services.
Manages daily operations of clinical and clerical employees, including staffing schedules, while maintaining an efficient and professional work atmosphere
Develops and sets goals at the process, job, and interface level to ensure optimal patient care in order to meet overall organizational goals.
Hires, trains, develops, and disciplines departmental personnel.
Evaluates performance and implements formal performance feedback of designated personnel.
Responsible for supply inventory and ordering; submission of vendor invoices to Accounts Payable.
Responsible for payroll and overtime management; disciplinary actions as needed per Human Resources policy.
Participates in the enforcement of Providence Health policies and procedures to ensure compliance and consistent administration.
Pursues professional development activities to ensure currency with present practices and trends in health care.
Responsible for optimization of the flow of patients through the clinical and scheduling process, addressing issues and resolving to the satisfaction of the patient and the organization.
Ensures compliance with regulations and with practice standards of quality patient care.
Collaborate with physicians, staff, and other office/department managers to ensure all policies are followed in order to provide exceptional quality of care while remaining under compliance
2 year degree required.
Minimum Work Experience
Minimum of three years of clinical experience; staff supervision experience preferred.

SC RN licensure required.
Knowledge of basic nursing principles and protocol.
Knowledge of policies and procedures related to infection control, environmental safety and patient confidentiality.
Knowledge of medical chart reporting/records.
