Clinical Clerical Technician (C.N.A) Cardiac IMU

Shift: 7A - 7P, 3 days a week, and rotating weekends

Kingwood Medical Center is currently accepting applications for Clinical Clerical Technician (C.N.A) Cardiac IMU.

Responsibilities:

  • The PCA/Unit Secretary is responsible for assisting with established nursing care procedures, routine patient care assignments, working in controlled and/or uncontrolled patient care situations, and assisting with/in therapeutic, rehabilitative, and preventive activities under the direction of a Registered Nurse.

  • Employee will be responsible for knowledge and skill necessary to provide care based on physical, psychological, educational, safety and related criteria for the adult and geriatric populations.

  • The CNA/Unit Secretary is responsible for, assisting the RN with patient movement, and treatments as prescribed by the physician and for clerical duties as assigned by the Nurse Manager or designee.

  • Strong communication/customer service required to direct visitors, answer phones, respond to call lights and perform all duties utilizing PEAK standards.

C.N.A, Certified Nursing Assistant, PCA, Patient Care Assistant, Patient Care Tech, PCT, Patient Care Technician, Nurse Aide, Licensed Nurse Aide, Certified Nurse Aide

Qualifications:

  • Current Texas Nurse Aide Registry License, required.

  • Current BLS issued by the American Heart Association Healthcare Provider.

  • One or more years recent clinical and clerical experience in hospital setting, preferred.

  • Phlebotomy experience highly desired.

Outstanding clinicians and staff to both inpatients and outpatients experiencing a wide range of disease processes including those that are acute and life threatening to those that are planned diagnostic studies provide services. The patients served range in age from late adolescence to geriatrics. Types of patients requiring care (diagnostic and therapeutic modalities): * Diagnostic & Interventional Cardiology * Diagnostic & Interventional Radiology * Diagnostic & Interventional Neuro-radiology * Diagnostic & Interventional Electrophysiology and Device Implantation Kingwood Medical Center is currently accepting applications for Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech) – Cardiac Catheterization (Cath Lab) RESPONSIBILITIES: Technologist will be able to perform duties in the Cardiac Cath Lab. These duties will include but not limited to assisting in scrubbing all diagnostic and interventional procedures. Ability to drive/pan table for all procedures. Ability to monitor all procedures. Ability to circulate all procedures. Employee will be responsible for knowledge and skill necessary to provide care based on physical, psychological, educational, safety and related criteria for the adult and geriatric population. Provides customer services as requested, doing so with the utmost professional and caring attitude. QUALIFICATIONS: * Graduate from an accredited Radiologic Technology program or CVT program. * 1-year of Cardiac Cath Lab experience required. * ARRT with Texas License in Radiography or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist RCIS/RCIS eligible. * Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) through American Heart Association. * ACLS through American Heart Association required within 90 days.
