The Clinical Business Analyst (CBA) provides on site support and training for Cooley Dickinson Health Care (CDHC) interdisciplinary system users and teams. The Clinical Business Analyst works independently, collaborates with multiple disciplines, relates to end users, organizes and prioritizes work, and works to find solutions to complex problems, conveying and educating on complex system functionality to support workflow. The Clinical Business Analyst's work spans all areas of CDHC: Inpatient, Outpatient, VNA & Hospice, and some administrative functions.
The Clinical Business Analyst helps facilitate the design of workflow process changes, uses excellent customer service skills and a patient-centric mindset to act as a resource to support and provide training, and acts as a change agent in service of organizational goals. This position utilizes a strong understanding of the software, the operational workflows, and governing policies and regulations.
This position reports to the Chief Medical Informatics Officer and operates within established organizational and departmental policies and procedures.
High school diploma required; Bachelor's Degree with a clinical or healthcare background preferred
3-5 years of experience providing clinical systems support or education required
1-3 years of healthcare experience preferred
Epic applications experience required
Epic Certification for application or training preferred
Cross-credentialed by PeC to support multiple Epic Applications preferred
Demonstrated excellent interpersonal, organizational, and oral and written communication skills required
Leadership skills and proven ability to manage diverse group of individuals and work effectively with multiple end users and teams required
