Job Description:

The Department of Otolaryngology at the University of Florida is seeking applicants who wish to pursue a career in Head and Neck Surgical Oncology / Microvascular Reconstructive Surgery at the rank of Clinical Ast/Aso/Full Professor, multi-mission track. Fellowship training in Advanced Head and Neck Surgical Oncology is required.

Applicants should have a strong interest in clinical care, teaching and research. Salary and rank will be commensurate with experience.

Advertised Salary:

Salary is negotiable and will be commensurate with experience and training.

Minimum Requirements:

Requirements include fellowship training in Advanced Head and Neck Surgical Oncology, board certified or eligible, and licensed (or eligible) to practice in Florida.

Preferred Qualifications:

Significant experience in open and minimally invasive tumor ablation, endocrine surgery as well as wide variety reconstructive techniques is preferred.

This is a full-time non-tenure accruing position at the rank of Associate or Full Professor. This individual will serve as Associate Chair of Clinical Research for the Department of Radiology. This position will provide leadership and oversight to research operations in the department and maintain a highly productive research operation with a national and international interest. The successful candidate must demonstrate an exceptional research record and possess proven research leadership to mentor junior and mid-level faculty in their development of research projects and help them to cultivate a successful research portfolio. Interdisciplinary collaborative experience and interpersonal skills are essential to be successful in a diverse organization across multiple disciplines. The candidate must also have shown a significant commitment to teaching and providing high-quality care and service in abdominal imaging. The Associate Chair will work closely with the Department Chair, Research Director, and Senior Associate Dean for Research to provide oversight to develop and maintain research efforts for the department.
