About the Team

The Residential Team offers specialized mental health residential treatment for adults experiencing acute mental health needs. These individuals may not have responded to outpatient treatment, require a level of care not available in less-restrictive settings, or benefit from continued treatment after inpatient psychiatric hospitalization. Our team delivers comprehensive services including medication management, individual and group therapy sessions. We emphasize skill development in communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution, as well as life and social skills to enhance functioning. Additionally, we focus on teaching self-regulation, anger management, and other mood management skills to support our clients' overall well-being.

What You'll Do

As a Clinical Associate III, you'll be instrumental in providing case management tailored to the needs of our residential clients, discharge planning, and facilitating residential groups and one-on-one sessions. Additionally, you'll assist the manager by organizing trainings, participating in interviews, assisting with weekly planning, and managing shopping tasks as needed. The points below will be key responsibilities of this role:

  • Providing skill-building and quality of life services to assigned clients.

  • Maintaining thorough case coordination notes and progress notes for billable services.

  • Conducting home observations to support client assessment and care.

  • Staying informed about community resources and serving as an informational resource for clinical staff and clients' natural supports.

  • Participating in outreach activities to facilitate new referrals.

Good To Know

  • Location: Fairbanks, Alaska

  • Position: Full-time, Non-exempt

  • Pay range: $22.78 to $29.47 per hour, depending on experience.

  • Eligible for up to $14,000 in incentives, with an average of $5,000.

  • $500 bonus after 90 days of successful employment.

  • Services will be offered in a residential treatment setting, shifts will be available from 8:00am to 5:00pm, Monday through Friday, but working on the weekends, off-hours, and holidays may arise.

What We Need from You

  • Bachelor's degree in a human-services field (e.g., social work, psychology)

  • Prior experience working with adults preferred.

  • Valid Alaska driver's license with a clean driving record.

  • Consistent time management skills.

  • Motivated individuals who can perform job duties with minimal oversight.
