Primary Purpose

This announcement will be used to fill two (2) half-time positions, all applicants will be considered for both opportunities. The successful candidates will be required to teach, student supervision in clinical and laboratory settings, creative scholarship and dissemination, and professional/community service.

Key Responsibilities

Clinic and laboratory teaching in the Pocatello and Idaho Falls (CEI) dental hygiene clinics (90%)

Creative scholarship and dissemination (5%)

Professional and community service (5%)

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene or a relevant field

Candidates must be a registered dental hygienist who have graduated from an ADA accredited dental hygiene program

A minimum of two years clinic dental hygiene practice experience

Current American Dental Hygienists' Association membership

Eligible for Idaho licensure

Good standing with licensing boards

Preferred Qualifications

Master's degree or progress towards completion of a master's degree

Five years academic clinical teaching experience

Education in restorative care
