Are you a dedicated and certified Family Nurse Practitioner with a passion for teaching and clinical practice? The University of South Carolina College of Nursing is seeking faculty for an on-site position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging didactic and clinical instruction for undergraduate and graduate nursing courses.

• Contribute to the professional development of nursing students through innovative teaching methods, including simulation and evidence-based practices.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Knowledge or experience teaching family nurse practitioner students.

• Willingness to participate in clinical practice and engage in research and scholarship activities.

• Committed to the application of innovative classroom delivery, simulation methodologies, and evidence-based integration.

• Proven dedication to the professional development of nursing students, clinical practice, and professional service.

Faculty appointments and salary are competitive and based on the candidate's level of experience in clinical practice, teaching, and scholarship.

Required Education and Experience

• Holds an earned doctorate in nursing (PhD or DNP).

• Nationally certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner with an unencumbered nursing license.

• Demonstrates excellence in written and oral communication, team building, self-motivation, and educational innovation.

• Basic Life Support (BLS) documentation required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Has at least two years of experience teaching Masters and DNP students.
