Assist with patient care in the clinic and related administrative responsibilities.
This is a part-time position working 10-hour shifts Monday, Tuesday, and Friday. Monday and Tuesday will be based out of the Burnsville location and Friday will be based out of Edina.
Gerten Urogynecology is an operating division of Infinite Health Collaborative (i-Health), a group of local medical practices, owned and led by its physicians, on a mission to give patients more control over their healthcare. Essential functions:
Room patients and prepare for exam
Verify and acquire pertinent patient information
Prep patients for injections; change dressings; remove sutures under Physicians/PA-C direction
Application and removal of casts once trained as a Cast Technician
Prescriptions: Once approval has been obtained by Physician/PA-C transmit to pharmacy
Prepare, stock, and clean exam room
May assist Care Coordinator with patient care services
May assist with medical supply inventory and ordering
Any and all other duties as assigned

Education and Experience Requirements:
High School diploma/GED or equivalent
1 year of clinical experience preferred
Certified Medical Assistant preferred
Essential Requirements:
Ability to:
Complete the Certified Provider Order Entry (CPOE) upon hire
Work in the clinic or office during business hours
Travel independently throughout the clinic/office (which may include movement from floor to floor); sit for long periods of time
Work at an efficient and productive pace, handle interruptions appropriately and meet deadlines
Converse in a calm, friendly manner
Apply principles of logical thinking to define problems, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
Understand and execute a variety of instructions
Effectively operate clinic and office (e.g., PC) equipment; and communicate on and operate the phone system
Work independently with minimal supervision
Travel to other work locations, if required
Adhere to HIPAA requirements
Comply with all TCO policies, procedures and complete job required training
Performance Expectations
Environmental Conditions:
Normal clinic/office setting
May be exposed to hazardous agents and infectious disease; cast dust and saw noise
