Position: Clinical Application Specialist (CAS) - Hearing and Balance (Audiologist)
Location: USA Eastern or Southern Region
Join our Natus Sensory Team as a Clinical Application Specialist and be part of a dynamic team dedicated to providing cutting-edge solutions to newborn care professionals.
SUMMARY:
The Clinical Applications Specialist (CAS) - Hearing and Balance (Audiologist) role has a key role with clinical education and training with internal and external customers for North America sales activities. Works closely with District Sales Managers within their region and field clinical team. This role will also assist in developing sales and marketing efforts with our business partners and internal teams to help promote and sell Natus products. They will assist in providing clinical expertise and knowledge in generating deep customer insights to enhance sales force productivity and effectiveness. In addition, this position is responsible for performing educational training for Natus hearing and balance products sold within their region and nationally for key account customers.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for pre- and post-sale clinical support of the H&B product line which includes hearing screening, hearing assessment, hearing aid fitting, vestibular and electrophysiology.
Provide virtual and on-site customer training and product in-servicing as required.
Assist the sales team with demonstrations and presentations of H&B product line and clinical applications of the system including hardware and software.
Travel and meet with clinical decision makers and key accounts to promote the H&B product line and assist with developing and implementing customer segments.
Provide web-based presentations and demonstrations as required to meet customer needs.
Develop relationships with key opinion leaders to promote and /or enhance alliances with them.
Provide effective feedback to downstream marketing team to tailor all marketing actions and collateral to meet local market needs.
Assist in reviewing annual and monthly sales forecast to see where you can help develop and close business.
Work closely with technical support, sales, and customer service and serve as a liaison to ensure customer needs are met.
Provide product and application training to current and newly hired employees.
Attendance at H&B team meetings - remotely or in person as required.
Provide and participate in company training sessions and presentations.
Participate in regional and national trade shows for CEU presentations and clinical knowledge expertise.
Review and stay up to date with new product offerings and provide insight into local market needs and clinical trends.
Stay up-to-date and follow all quality system procedures related to this job, which can affect the quality of products or services provided to our customers and conform to RA/QA requirements.
Maintain fiscal responsibility, adhering to corporate expense guidelines.
Participate in special projects as directed.
All other duties as assigned based on changing market conditions, company, and business needs.
Travel Required:
Extensive travel up to 75% of domestic travel and 10% of international travel.
Supervisory Responsibilities
This position does not have any direct or indirect reports.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Education and/or Experience
Master's degree in Audiology, Doctor of Audiology degree, or equivalent
2+ years clinical experience required
State Licensure in Audiology preferred. Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) or Board Certification in Audiology from AAA preferred but not required
Knowledge of various areas of audiology: newborn and school screening, hearing assessment, hearing aid fitting and verification, vestibular testing and interpretation, evoked potentials
Knowledge in common audiology PC applications: NOAH, Hearing aid manufacturer software
Knowledge in basic PC applications: MS Office (Excel, Word, Power Point), Outlook
Knowledge of clinical testing situations and ability to train a variety of clinicians at various expertise levels
Comfort in presentation skills and ability to speak in front of small and large groups
Comfort in a variety of environments and situations and flexibility to adapting situations
Extensive travel is required it is preferrable that candidate is close to major airport for flexibility of travel
Valid driver's license
Proficiency in problem-solving and negotiation.
Physical Requirements
Able to lift up to 25lbs.
