How We Serve
The Clinical Advisor (CA) supports all clinical operations and services to ensure patients are receiving high quality and cost-effective care. This role will be accountable to clinical experience from onboarding staff through care delivery and staff development and will coordinate with quality and compliance to ensure SOPs and workflows are up to date and accurate. The CA bridges the gaps in all clinical experience and ensures a feedback loop.
The Clinical Advisor role is a fast-paced, advanced practice clinician that can support all patient-facing activity as well as clinical operations and works to improve processes to more effectively deliver care. This is a hybrid model with a blend of office-based support and work from home. In addition, the CA will help ensure that clinicians are well versed in SOPs including understanding their operational responsibilities.
Desired Characteristics
Ability to work cross functionally with a variety of departments.
Clear communicator, able to present trainings and presentations to a wide audience, including internal clinical staff, ancillary staff and potential outside customers.
Comfortable with working within different software platforms (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams, eCW, telehealth platforms)
Duties and Responsibilities
Develop, maintain and update clinical SOPs and workflows and provide accessibility and guidance to clinical staff
Coordinate with training department, identify needs, provide content development
Collaborate with operations and growth teams with focus on new business opportunities and meet with and present to potential customers
Coordinate with clinical operations leader and analytics to develop, refine and utilize reports
Maintain agenda, invitation and minutes of clinical excellence and innovation committee in addition to providing input and support policy development, standardization of protocols, and clinical improvements and growth in the delivery of patient care and functionality of the clinical team
Organize and manage weekly education with Spiras Physicians and clinicians with oversight of Director of Clinical Services
Develop, maintain, and update patient educational materials and provide accessibility and guidance to clinical staff
Collaborate with clinical operations leader to develop, refine, and update electronic medical records templates and features to align with the organization's care model.
Work with IT and other leaders on all software applications as needed.
Qualifications
Advance Practice degree (NP or PA) with unencumbered license
Telehealth and primary care experience
Proficient understanding of Medicare Advantage, Medicaid and FFS lines of business
Value based contracting experience
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in palliative care
Experience in transitional care and complex care
Bilingual (preferred, but not required)
