Primary Responsibilities:

  • Manage administrative tasks as assigned/needed for the home care staff and nurses

  • Work with hospitals, clinics, facilities and the clinical team to manage request for services from nurses or providers

  • Maintain patient charts

  • Communicate patient care starts and status updates to patient educators (nurses)

  • Administrative duties include: ordering equipment and supplies, faxing, and reporting

  • Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma / GED or higher

  • 2 years of professional experience in an office setting using the telephone and computer as primary instruments to perform job duties

  • Experience working in an Administrative or Clerical role

  • Ability to create, edit, save and send documents utilizing Microsoft Word and Excel

  • Ability to navigate a PC to open applications, send emails, and conduct data entry

  • Available to work 7.5 hours a day during normal business hours

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Healthcare experience

  • Medical Terminology experience

  • Hospital, Physician, or Medical Clinic experience

  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations
