Position Description:

Schedule: Monday-Friday Day Shift

Location: Park Place II

Responsible for overseeing the coordination of smooth clinical operations within the Pediatric Endocrinology Division. Provides clinical administrative and clerical support to physicians.

Supervises support staff. Follows established guidelines or protocols. Assists in the preparation for outpatient clinics, including communicating with outside physicians referring patients and with patient families.

Handles all clinical billing for the assigned providers. May act as a communication liaison for the division. Interfaces with outside resources such as alumni, patients, or with continuing education students. May be responsible for adherence to program budget and/or other fiscal duties.

Position Requirements:

This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent. An undergraduate degree in Liberal Arts or the Social Sciences preferred.

Five years' progressively responsible secretarial experience required. A Bachelor's degree in Secretarial Science or directly related degree from an accredited post secondary educational institution may substitute for up to three years' experience requirement. 50 wpm accurate typing required as a minimum. May require experience with word processing systems, software packages, knowledge of bookkeeping practices and/or budget/financial experience. May also require medical/scientific terminology.
