POSITION SUMMARY

The CAE is assigned a set of moderate to complex clients carrying a strategic project management role. They serve clients as the primary contact for all clinical, formulary related initiatives, financial /rebate and clinical modeling, trend evaluation, clinical business plan development consultation-presentation, implementation and oversight, results evaluation, and follow-up related to the comprehensive management of clinical programs and services issues and initiatives regarding programs and up-sell.

Preferred Location: Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky. This position will be a work from home position.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Leads the up-sell and implementation of clinical program solutions and formulary related programs to clients thru consultative methods and processes (e.g. Client P and T presentations, quarterly/ annual reviews, modeling/ report reviews, etc.) in accordance with client business plans and upon collaboration and coordination with account management team members regarding operational details.

  • Development, preparation, and presentation of clinical business strategy (formulary, utilization and/or health management strategy) for each client assigned. Acts in concert with assigned Account Executives and Account Management to service all needs of the client.

  • Continually reviews to detect medication utilization issues related to formulary and drug plan design. Provides analysis via data warehouse query or available report evaluation. Communicates to client's data based explanations for trends and explores opportunities for improvement as necessary.

  • Shares best practice standards with broader CAE peer audience as well as clients and demonstrates understanding and interpretation of current industry trends and drug information. Participation in process improvement initiatives.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Current U.S. Pharmacist License with 3 years of licensure experience required.

  • Government Regulated Business (Medicare/Medicaid) experience preferred

  • Proficiency in using Microsoft applications

  • Excellent presentation and communication skills required.

  • Must have the ability to work on multiple tasks, prioritize, resolve complex issues, and have strong project management skills.

  • Ability to learn multiple internal reporting and analytic tools for client management.

VIEW JOBS 9/4/2019 12:00:00 AM 2019-12-03T00:00 POSITION SUMMARY The Sr. Account Executive will be responsible for the planning, internal coordination, implementation, maintenance, and communication of the client activities and performance. This position will work cross functionally in assuring sufficient and effective products are in place to present to the clients and will work directly with Client and Patient Services, Product Management, Contract Administration and Legal to do so. In addition, this position will be the primary contact to senior leadership and involves delivering multiple presentations to key stakeholders. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS * Support the establishment of key products through internal coordination and collaboration with Product Management and Operations. * Work with consultants as required to actualize products. * Accountable for development and execution of client-specific upsell plan, and ongoing monitoring of plan with adjustments made as necessary. * Delivery of routine review of plan performance with client. * Determine opportunities for up sells, expansions and maximizing opportunities for revenue growth. * Interface directly with assigned clients as needed to consult on commercial best practices and to support upsell activities. Serves as the face of Express Scripts with ongoing communication and consultation to the assigned community as necessary to maintain and grow relationship. * Supervise team to ensure productivity and optimization of opportunities for up sells, expansions and maximizing opportunities for revenue growth. * Direct activities of internal cross functional partners related to client strategic objectives and in support of the strategic plan. Special projects and tasks forces as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS * Bachelor's degree in related field or 16 to 20 years of experience. * 10 to 14 years relevant experience with Bachelor's Degree or Master's degree and 8 to 12 years of relevant experience. * Advanced PC skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. * Extensive project management skills. * Superior verbal and written communication and presentation skills. * Working knowledge of financial management principles and Federal Acquisition Regulation. * Demonstrated negotiating and leadership skills. * Developed organizational, analytical, interpretative and time management skills. * Ability to travel as needed to meet goals.
