Clinic RN - Rehab

The Clinic RN is a member of the CardioPulmonary Rehabilitation Department under the supervision of the Clinical Manager of the CardioPulmonary Rehabilitation Department. Responsibilities include assessment of patients (ensuring that they meet Medicare and other insurance reimbursement criteria), orientation to and oversight of the exercise program, monitoring the patients, marketing, education, patient follow-up and evaluation and improvement of program components. Services are provided to adult patients with a diagnosis/procedure, including, but not limited to: risk factor modification; angina; myocardial infarction; cardiac surgery; percutaneous coronary intervention; congestive heart failure; arrhythmia, electrical physiology study; pacemaker implantation; biventricular pacemaker implantation; cardioverter defibrillator implantation; heart transplant.

Required Qualifications:

• Coursework/Training: Continuing education courses in nursing.

• Upon hire: California Registered Nurse License

• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association

• One year: Cardiology experience in ambulatory or inpatient setting.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree: Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
