Clinic Receptionist/Admitting Clerk

Job Summary:#Performs admission duties for clinic/outpatients.# Process records and acts as liaison with patient family members or responsible party while maintaining patient confidentiality.# Qualifications/Reporting: Required minimum education: High School graduate or equivalent.

Required minimum experience:

One-year office experience preferred.

Required:

BLS certification required, obtained within the first 90 days of hire.# Required skills (if applicable): Working knowledge of personal computers; must be proficient in general clerical duties and handling payments.# Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.# Knowledge of word, excel and PowerPoint. Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Current driver#s license and vehicle liability insurance required. Job reports to (title of the position): Clinic Director
