Responsibilities

The Nurse Practitioner focuses on providing general care to patients of all ages, with utmost patience, care, compassion and understanding. Perform tasks within their scope of practice which may include conducting tests, recording medical histories, providing treatments, assisting physicians and enhancing public awareness on the importance of health, and prescribing medications.

St. Joseph Medical Center is seeking an experienced family nurse practitioner to join their medical group. The qualifying candidate will have a minimum of 2 years' experience practicing in a family medicine clinic seeting patients of all ages. Experience with Epic EMR and working a statndard week Monday through Friday is a must.

Position Requirements:

• Family Nurse Practitioner

• No new graduates

• Must have a minimum of 2 years' experience in outpatient clinic

• Experience seeing patients of all ages

• Full-time

• Monday - Friday work week

• Hours 8am-5pm

• Epic EMR

• Work under Collaborative Practice Agreement

Qualifications

Education and Work Experience

MSN with specialization as an ARNP. Current MO state license as an Advanced Practice Nurse. BLS upon hire and maintain current. One to two years of experience as a nurse practitioner required. Previous experience with electronic health record.
