Position Specific Responsibilities
Are you interested in managing a fast paced, ever-changing office in Wichita's exciting Old Town?
Come join the WSU PT team! This position not only runs the day-to-day office activities, but also supports day-to-day functions of students, faculty, and staff and is responsible for billing and invoicing new PT contracts within the metro area! Come join our growing team!
Summary of Responsibilities
Supports the day-to-day operation of the clinic by providing administrative support, which may include front desk coordination, patient scheduling, billing, and collections.
Essential Functions
May confirm insurance coverage, determines necessity for pre-authorization and obtains authorization for scheduled procedures. Determines financial responsibility for services to be provided.
Maintains detailed documentation in the patient account record of all billing activities. Maintains documentation of claims processed as part of the daily claims reconciliation process.
May manage office supply and equipment purchases and repair.
Provides support for front desk by assisting with appointment scheduling, phone calls, and patient collections, as needed.

Requirements
Minimum Education
60 hours of college coursework in related field by hire date
Preferred Education Minimum Experience
Three (3) years of experience in medical office or related field
Preferred Experience
Chrome River experience
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Basic accounts payable and accounts receivable knowledge
Ability to multi-task
Detail oriented and time management skills
Ability to learn new processes and procedures (for example: Medicaid/Medicare billing)
