The Clinic Manager is responsible for the successful operation of the clinic and the management its personnel. The person is a big picture thinker who is able to adjust to a variety of changes and challenges in a fast paced environment. Conscientious of deadlines and company policies and procedures, this leader maintains open lines of communication with patients and employees.


  • Tasked to encourage teamwork and cooperation between all employees.

  • Contribute to the training and proficiencies of assigned personnel.

  • Encourages and supports company outreach programs.

  • Promotes a high level of customer service to our patients.

  • Ability to work closely with front and back office operations to identify and implement processes for improvement.

  • Understands, implements, and enforces company policies and procedures and works with team members to ensure compliance.

  • Accountable for direct oversight of all sliding fee scale processes to include training, daily review of compliance, and the annual passing of the external audit.

  • Oversight of employee's schedules to ensure appropriate coverage during hours of operation.

  • Coordinate the training of personnel to efficiently fulfill their responsibilities.

  • Identify clinic work flow improvement opportunities and provide recommendations.

  • Responsible for the development and oversight of the department or clinics budget.

  • Supervise the ordering of supplies (medical and office) for the clinic.

  • Responsible for oversight of the clinics human resource needs.

  • Assist in training new employees in company policies and procedures.

  • Oversight of employee time keeping and timely submission of employee timesheets to payroll.

  • Works to solidify patient relations by timely and professionally handling patient concerns.

  • Responsible for the oversight of coding and submission of all invoices.

  • Responsible to oversee, prepare, and participate in all inspections and timely reporting compliance.

  • Facilitate and ensure minutes are taken for the monthly staff meetings and quarterly patient advisory committee meetings or annual community meetings.

  • Responsible for timely bank deposits and cash handling accountability per the financial department policy and procedure.

  • Strive to improve patient safety in all aspects of performance of the above essential functions.

  • Monitors office efficiencies, productivity, and cost savings and looks for opportunities to improve each of these areas.

  • Monthly review of all clinic operations reports.

  • Regular and predictable attendance.

  • Continuous learning in both personal and professional development.

  • Consistent review, comprehension and reply of company email and related correspondence.


  • Three or more years experience managing a clinic or department in a healthcare setting.

  • Three or more years experience supervising five or more employees.


  • Bachelors degree in a related field.

  • Bilingual in English/Spanish.


  • $50,000.00/YR with a BA/BS degree plus depending on experience.

VIEW JOBS 4/10/2020 12:00:00 AM 2020-07-09T00:00 More Information about this Job Supervised Visitation Case Aide I Job Description BASIC FUNCTION: The Case Aide manages all aspects of child-parent-family visits, documenting interactions both positive and negative and without bias, coordinated with the Case Manager from Arizona Department of Child Safety (ADCS). In support of the ComTrans mission and goals, this position utilizes business knowledge, professional documentation, independent and creative thinking. ComTrans is a safety sensitive company. Job description(s) are subject to change based on business necessity EMPLOYEE STATUS: Regular: Full-time; $13.00 hourly / non-exempt position. REQUIREMENTS: Education: High School Graduate, some college, degree preferred. Minimum of 1 year experience in Human Service field preferred. Age: All ComTrans employees must be at least 18 years old, all driving positions are required to be at least 21 years old as required by insurance. Exceptions may be made for non-driving positions on a case-by-case basis and dependent upon the position and its responsibilities. All employees working in ComTrans ADCS Division must pass ADCS Central Registry Check Licensing/Registration/Certification: Valid AZ driver's license Current Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card Pass initial MVR-60 month (5 year) history check Pass MVR 36 month (3 year) history check twice each year Approved by our insurance company as a driver. Company Provided Training/Certifications First Aid/CPR Crisis Prevention and Intervention. Complete ComTrans Driver Certification Training Program. Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: The Case Aide: Communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office Suite and able to utilize information systems. Be well organized and efficient. Multi-task, balance workload, and demonstrate good organization skills. Work independently with little supervision. Be a strong team player. Understand customer service internally and externally. Ability to coordinate multiple cases. Use sound judgment in making decisions and solving problems. Utilize time management skills - prioritizing and planning. Maintain a high level of confidentiality. Be able to de-escalate hostile situations effectively. Utilize proper communication skills. Maintain a professional relationship with parents, family members and children. Have the ability to perform services in a professional and businesslike manner and to the highest standard of professional conduct. Understand appropriate interactions between parents, family and children. Use professional documentation. Understand cultural differences and apply accordingly. Physical Requirements: The physical demands are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions typical of an administrative position as well as a ComTrans driver. Ability to stand, climb stairs/steps, escort clients to and from destination, kneel, crouch, reach and extend arms. Able to grasp objects such as steering wheel, car seats, etc Sit in a driving or sitting position from 1 to up to 12 hours. Able to get in and out of vehicles multiple times per day Assisting students/clients in and out of the vehicles multiple times each day. Able to bend, kneel and secure wheelchairs and clients multiple times per day. Ability to lift or move at least 40 pounds Ability to carry, lift and install child seats into vehicles and secure children into child seats. When required, able to pass a Department of Transportation physical exam initially and upon expiration. Able to perform vehicle pre and post trip inspections daily and on any vehicle Able to work in a variety of environments; inside and outside, able to tolerate a variety of climate changes and conditions, Administrative requirements Ability to perform sedentary work involving sitting most of the time and for long periods of time. Able to perform fingering activities such as typing. Perform repetitive activities such as typing, using a telephone Must have adequate visual acuity as required to perform activities such as preparing and analyzing data and figures, viewing a computer terminal, expansive reading. REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS: The Case Aide reports to the Case Aide Supervisor RESPONSIBILITIES: The responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to, the following: Document visits without bias or personal beliefs using professional documentation practices in accepted format and medium. Ensure the safety of children at all times. Always allow natural parent-child interactions. Provide maximum opportunity for parent-child contact and for parents to demonstrate responsibility for the child. Educate all parties involved of the visitation plans as well as visitation guidelines, limitations and responsibilities of all parties. Resolve conflict and de-escalate situations effectively. Document a child's behavior on route to the visit, the parent's reaction to the child, parent's behavior during the visit, child's reaction to seeing birth parents, child/parent separation behavior. Communicate with the ADCS Case Manager often and as necessary. Ensure all visit notes are detailed, accurate, and submitted timely Communicate all issues to your direct Supervisor immediately.
