Job Description

Title- Lakeside Physicians Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)

Position-

Lakeside Physicians is looking to employ a qualified and professional Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to provide primary healthcare at our outpatient clinics. The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) will provide routine care, take vital information from patients, provide information about treatments and prescriptions and observe patient health.

The successful candidate should possess a nurturing and kind personality and display excellent communication skills with all role players. The candidate should be able to work closely with health care practitioners to ensure the health, comfort, and safety of patients.

Responsibilities-

• Administers nursing care in an outpatient facility or clinic under the supervision of a registered nurse or healthcare provider.

• Participates in the delivery and evaluation of patient care

• Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals and performs a variety of tasks

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) works under general supervision and typically reports to a registered nurse or supervisor. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma and certification as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)
• The candidate should be familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
